A limited number of selected players may also participate in the Cherasco Classica Festival, an extention of Zephyr Festival in collaboration with the historic and beautiful city of Cherasco, and the Barbaresco Classica Festival in collaboration with the Enoteca Regionale del Barbaresco, which will take place July 17 - 24. During this period all lodging, meal and travel expenses will be paid for by the festival sponsors. This is a unique opportunity for students to gain more chamber music experience and to explore the Piemonte region of Northern Italy. In addition to the concerts and the fine museums and churches of Piemonte a demonstration of the magnificent wine of Barbaresco is one of the highlights of the trip.
